Paul Vanstone | Natasha Kumar | WEXAS Travel at The Royal Geographical Society, Jan 2015

An exhibition of works on paper and marble and stone sculpture. These artists share Indian influences but work with very different materials, and colour, to suggest a sense of deep permanence and timlessness.  Each draws on their classical training and traditional techniques to create striking contemporary works of art.


Exclusive evening event |  22nd Jan 2014  6.30pm

Special preview evening in conjunction with The Royal Geographical Society, Natasha Kumar, Paul Vanstone and WEXAS Travel. Natasha and Paul will be giving talks about their journeys as artists and travellers in India, illustrated with the works of the exhibition in the main Ondaatje Theatre. You will also be invited to enter a free raffle. Prizes include an original work by Natasha Kumar and flights to India with British airways for two people, courtesy of WEXAS Travel.

Follow Natasha Kumar’s tour exploring the Fair’s Contemporary Art, discussing the techniques and work of selected artists.
As an artist and gallery owner herself Natasha is in an ideal position to offer a view behind the contemporary art scene. She has exhibited worldwide for the last 20 years, beginning at the Royal Academy, and since 1999 she has shown a stable of successful young figurative artists through her gallery ARTSHOUSE.
The talk will start at 12pm on Sunday 9th February. Please meet in the Foyer 5 minutes before the talk.
